EvaBuild Celebrates 15 Years of Building Quality and Trust

Founded in 2011, EvaBuild has grown from a local groundworks contractor into a trusted and respected name delivering high-quality modular groundworks, civil engineering, surfacing, and development projects across England, Wales and Scotland. What began with a clear commitment to quality workmanship, reliability, and customer service has developed into a diverse business capable of delivering projects of all sizes across both the public and private sectors.

Over the past 15 years, we have worked on a wide range of commercial, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and community-focused projects. Every project has presented its own challenges and opportunities, helping to shape the company we are today.

Like many businesses, we faced unprecedented challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, but our team rose to the occasion. A standout example was our work at Cardiff Heath Hospital, where strict timescales, changing requirements, and the pressures of supporting critical healthcare infrastructure demanded flexibility, commitment, and determination from everyone involved. Despite the difficult circumstances, our team delivered when it mattered most, demonstrating the resilience and professionalism that continue to define EvaBuild.

In more recent years, we have continued to strengthen our presence within the public sector, successfully delivering local tender works for Powys County Council and other local authorities. These projects have enabled us to contribute directly to local communities while further establishing EvaBuild as a trusted delivery partner for public sector organisations.

Alongside our core construction activities, we have also expanded the business through the development of EvaBuild Surfacing. What started as an opportunity to complement our existing services has grown into a successful division in its own right, allowing us to offer clients a broader range of solutions while creating new opportunities for growth and investment within the business.

Our journey has been recognised through a number of awards and achievements over the years. In 2013, just two years after the company was founded, EvaBuild was honoured with a Start-Up Business of the Year award at Powys Business Awards, recognising the ambition and potential of the young company. This was followed by continued growth and industry recognition, culminating in being named Powys Business of the Year in 2019; an achievement that reflected not only our commercial success but also the dedication of our team and our contribution to the local economy.

Reaching 15 years is an achievement we are incredibly proud of, and it is one that belongs to everyone who has been part of the journey. Our success has been built on the hard work and dedication of our employees, trusted subcontractors, suppliers and clients who have supported us along the way.

Since the company began, the construction industry has evolved significantly. Through changing markets, economic uncertainty, new regulations, technological advances, and industry-wide challenges, EvaBuild has continued to adapt and grow while maintaining the high standards and reliable service that our clients expect.
