Matford Brook Academy
In December 2024, EvaBuild completed the groundworks on a project to provide temporary classrooms at Matford Brook Academy, working with our Client Portakabin®. The works ensured pupils could still access all facilities required whilst works on a permanent structure are ongoing. The project began as a greenfield site, extensive preparation works were required to get the site ready for temporary modular install.
EvaBuild carried out a reduce level dig to mitigate the deceiving gradient on the site. This allowed Portakabin to offer level access to some elevations and reduce the length of ramped access on others.
Upon completion of site preparation works including levelling, foundations and drainage (including a large attenuation tank), gas membrane installation and concrete oversite, a Portakabin modular building was installed.
EvaBuild then carried out extensive tarmacking to site with our EvaBuild Surfacing workforce. EvaBuild Surfacing created footpaths and a playground area for students.
EvaBuild were pleased to support completion of the project by sponsoring Matford Brook Academy’s first ever sports kit.
