Hinckley Hospital CDC

Hinckley Hospital Community Diagnostic Centre

In July 2025, EvaBuild successfully completed the groundworks for the brand-new Hinckley Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), working in partnership with our client Darwin Group. Commissioned by the NHS, this cutting-edge facility will provide approximately 80,000 additional diagnostic tests annually for patients across Hinckley and the wider Leicestershire area.

The CDC was officially opened on 27th June 2025 by Dr Luke Evans, MP for Hinckley and Bosworth. Operating seven days a week, the centre forms part of the NHS's broader programme to enhance diagnostic services through more accessible, community-based facilities.

Modern Methods of Construction (MMC)

Hinckley CDC was constructed using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), allowing for the Darwin Group's modular units to be assembled concurrently with our groundworks. This collaborative and streamlined approach significantly reduced project timelines, enabled earlier occupation and minimised disruption on site.

Scope of Works

EvaBuild was responsible for all groundworks and enabling works on site. Our scope included:
